vermouth gamelan music resume I started studying Balinese gamelan in 1996 and played with Gamelan Burat Wangi- a gamelan gong kebyar orchestra directed by I Nyoman Wenten at CalArts- from 2004-2008 Prior to Burat Wangi, I was a founding member of Gamelan Anak Swarasanti, an angklung ensemble in Santa Cruz, California, which maintains a large repertoire of traditional pieces and also experiments with electronic music. The intricate rhythms and beautiful timbres of the gamelan have had a profound impact on my musical world.
